Curriculum Overview

Lifesaver CPR & First Aid Trainings follow the American Heart Association’s curriculum to offer BLS, ACLS, and Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED courses.

BLS teaches participants to identify emergencies, perform chest compressions, ventilations, and use an AED.
ACLS builds on BLS skills, emphasizing continuous CPR.
Heartsaver courses are for those with little or no medical training who need a course completion card for job or regulatory requirements.

Basic Life Support
(BLS)

The BLS course trains participants to promptly recognize several life-threatening emergencies, give high-quality chest compressions, deliver appropriate ventilations, and provide early use of an AED.

Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)

ACLS course teach the same AHA science-based skills. Teaches the importance of preventing cardiac arrest, high-performance teams, early and continuous high-quality CPR, systems of care, recognition and intervention.

Heartsaver® Bloodborne Pathogens Training

This course teaches students the essential skills and techniques to safeguard themselves and others from potential exposure to blood or blood-containing materials, ensuring a safe and secure environment.
